ContecDG (known as NutriDG outside the United States)
is the premium small particle granular fertilizer,
designed for application with conventional rotary spreading equipment. But it is so much more.
ContecDG is a combination of premium turf nutrients, patented dispersing granule technology and a special manufacturing process designed specifically to produce Contec DG.
Agronomically, it includes the same high quality nutrients that the best granular greens fertilizers are known for. What makes Contec DG special is what the granule does. Contact with water in the form of light irrigation or heavy dew causes each Contec DG granule to disperse into thousands of microscopic particles. These tiny particles move through the canopy during light irrigation. This virtually eliminates historic problems with granular fertilizers – granule pickup into mower clippings baskets, residue on golf balls or shoes, and granule “washaway” during heavy rains. Contec DG is particularly well suited to today’s close cut high density golf course greens and tees.
The dispersibility feature of Contec DG is FAST – so fast that you can begin to see the effects within a few seconds upon contact with water. To fully place the microscopic particles in the optimal position past the turf canopy, it is typically recommended that one light irrigation be done after application. Typically, 2 – 3 sprinkler head revolutions is adequate (approximately 5 minutes) depending on irrigation conditions.
Contec DG has the ideal characteristics of premium turf fertilizers, such as:
Particle size variety
SGN 75 (small enough to cover and large enough to spread well)
SGN 150 (large enough for fairway application equipment)
High Uniformity Index (IU) to provide consistent spreading
Homogenous formulas for most products
Engineered particle minimizes dust formation
MUtech slow release nitrogen technology based on methylene urea
Many different NPK options, plus micronutrients and additives to fit many needs
Contec DG offers many different features for many different needs.
